It would be cool to add chrome to an older, cheaper Mercedes, maybe one that you just bought used in a color that you don`t like

_But to spend good money in chroming a nice new coupe doesn`t make sense...I pressume that if you like the brand, you can find a car in an original color likeable enouth

However, I would like to customize an old W 124 coupe, maybe a 300 CE 24 V

Even a former funeral limosine can have more zing by chroming it, maybe one of those 6 door airport and funeral limos used in Europe made by Trasco or Binz

[...] If you don’t like the look of your car, you can have it redone, IF you can afford it. A BMW owner in Canada had his E46 M3 tricked out in many ways, including an all-chrome finish. I’d bet he has a covered garage to store it in, too.
see, i don't like plain chrome look, i'd rather stick to artistic looking drained metal than to plain (curved actually) mirror.. and - foil is easy, and even if you use aerograph for painting you hardly achieve that polished look of chrome, manual polishing and covering with several layers of transparent acrylic paint is mandatory.. but, thanks for offer, may be i will give it a try.

That's pretty cool, Carrey! Can't you spray chrome on the model cars? Probably easier than self-adhesive foil.
